Dear Emmaus Community:
Serving the Noahs of Ark Community as the 2017 Board of Di-rectors Chair is an honor. I am very grateful and excited to have the op-portunity to serve the NOA Community --- a Community of programs and Christian members that have touched my life and mean so much to me.
We all have our Emmaus Pilgrim Walk stories. Mine started on Walk #76 where I became aware of how much God loved me. While working on Emmaus Walks, Chrysalis Flights, Face to Face Encounters in the conference room, or on an outside team, I can always feel His love for the pilgrims and the team and I see the Holy Spirit all around.
Our Board and Committees are off to a busy and deter-mined start. Please go to the website www.noahsofark.org under the Board section and learn who are on the Board.  These are people you may contact with any questions or input you may have for our NOA community.  Also, check out the people serving as Committee Chairs who would appreciate your ideas and input.
The Noahs of Ark Community Newsletter is finally a reality.  We are grateful to Dale Clancy (Walk 129), who has volunteered to be our Newsletter Editor. He serves as the chaplain for the Good Samaritan Society in Hot Springs Village. He and his wife Shella live in Hot Springs Village.
On July 8, 2017, the Noahs of Ark Community will be having both the Laity and Clergy Emmaus Regional Leaders coming to Little Rock for a Leadership Development Training. Last year we had the Up-per Room Leaders for our Chrysalis and Face to Face programs. This year we will have the Walk to Emmaus Training for the Board of Direc-tors, Spiritual Directors and anyone in the Emmaus Community who is interested in attending. Put it on your calendar today.
We are working hard to do what God wants us to do in the No-ahs of Ark Community. I am asking for your prayers for God’s wisdom and will to be given to the Noahs of Ark Board as we work to grow all our programs. Please pray so that we might help build leadership in our churches, as well as provide a place for pilgrims to obtain a closer and more personal relationship with God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit.
Feel free to call or email me anytime if you have questions or suggestions.
